Employment Opportunities

    Potomac Horse Center employs a full compliment of full and part-time staff members.  Some positions include on-farm housing.  PHC tries to provide part-time and temporary positions for youths enrolled in our riding programs.  Part-time afternoon and weekend positions are very popular so advance application is imperative.

Instructors - We're always interested in meeting qualified, upbeat, personable Instructor/Trainers in all disciplines including dressage, hunter/jumper, and combined training.

Evening & Weekend Office Positions -  We sometimes have openings for part-time receptionists. Work-for-lessons is available.  Adults only with excellent customer service skills, please.

Weekend Barn Positions - Saturday or Sunday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with 1/2 hour lunch break.  Some weekday afternoon/evenings.  We will train you to groom, tack, blanket, perform barn chores, help out with birthday parties, work as horse show staff or assist clients in the lesson program.  Please note: You must be at least 14 years old & have a valid work permit until the age of 18.
